The IPA’s International Executive Board (IEB) Socio Cultural Commission-Sports Project is pleased to announce an invitation for all IPA Sections to host the 1st IPA World Football Tournament that is schedule to take place in spring 2025 (depending on the availability of the Hosting Section).
Promoting gender equality, the Tournament will have two categories: Men and Women. The duration is proposed to be 4-5 days, depending on the number of the participating teams. The format is 7×7 (6+1 Goalkeeper) and every team will have a maximum of 12 players. Game’s duration will be at 20min for each half and 5min the half break. At the beginning, all teams will be divided in Groups after the draw, then quarterfinals (8), semifinals (4) and in the end the Finals (Point system: 3-1-0). Dimension of the field: 33m x 53m and Goal: 2mx5m.
All countries are invited to participate in both men’s and women’s categories at most with two teams.
Individual Trophies will be given (MVP, Fair Play, Oldest Player, Top Goal scorer) beside the team awards.
Candidates Sections are invited to submit their expression of interest by emailing ipa.scc.sportsproject@gmail.com by Tuesday 01 October 2024. Based on the received expressions of interest and suitability of candidates Sections, SCC Sports Project team will consult the list and assign the event to the most appropriate candidate Section.
